The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), on June 27, 2025, issued the Draft Chartered Accountants (First Amendment) Regulations, 2025, to further amend the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In Regulation 204, after the words, “International Taxation”, the word “and” shall be omitted.
• In Regulation 204, after the words, Management and Business Finance, the words, “and Forensic Investigation” shall be inserted.
• Objection or suggestion which may be received from any person to the said draft regulations may forward to the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India within the period so specified addressed to the Secretary, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI Bhawan, Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi – 110002 and or before before July 27, 2025.
